The Grange Day Nursery is a warm, family-run setting based in the heart of beautiful parkland in Sutton (SM1). Since 2009, we’ve proudly offered high-quality, year-round early years education and care for children aged 9 months and up. Our focus is on providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can explore, grow, and flourish. We understand that choosing the right nursery is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. That’s why we work in close partnership with families to ensure every child’s individual needs are met, and their potential is supported through a loving and responsive approach.

The Curiosity Approach

At The Grange Day Nursery, our curriculum is inspired by the Curiosity Approach, which focuses on fostering children's natural curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning. The Curiosity Approach encourages children to be active participants in their own learning by exploring, experimenting, and engaging with their surroundings in a meaningful way. We offer a balanced curriculum that includes outdoor learning, creative play, literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking activities. It’s child-led: Instead of adults dictating what the kids must learn, the kids’ own interests and questions guide activities. This holistic approach ensures children are well-prepared for the next steps in their learning journey and development.
